Theme Thursday - Tattoos

I don't know about you, but I love a hero with tattoos. There is just something about a man all inked up that gets me hot and bothered. Today I thought I'd feature some of my favorite fictional men with ink. Oh and a yummy link for those who have tastes similar to mine theinkedboys.com.

Fantasy becomes reality if you carry the mark...
Chloe Bryant doesn’t know what to expect when she enters The Wolf’s Den. Drawn to the werewolf tattoo parlor for reasons she can’t explain, she soon discovers the sexy man from her dreams isn’t a figment of her imagination. Not only is Jackson Donovan real, but he explains the dreams they shared are due to their destined mating. It can’t be possible. She’s not a werewolf. Even if he swears the mark on her wrist indicates otherwise.
Jackson is stunned to discover the beautiful minx from his dreams isn’t a full-blooded werewolf but a Halfling. The only way to uncover Chloe’s past is to stake a claim to her future. By taking the delectable female into his bed, he’ll unlock every secret she has to hide -- as well as awaken the passion she’s tucked away for too long -- by exploring her mind, body and soul one sweet inch at a time.

Johnny Trouble. He’s a commanding presence in leather and tattoos, both on stage and off. He’s had more than his fair share of groupies and lovers, but it’s time for a change and he reconnects with the one woman whose memory has driven him crazy since high school. Liz.
She’s a quiet, shy romance author who likes her comfort zones. But when Johnny comes back into her life after years of living in the spotlight, Liz’s private fantasies shift into overdrive and she nervously asks him to fulfill them.
Just one weekend is all she proposes, but the sparks flying between them when Johnny touches her aren’t temporary. She’s the particular brand of trouble he wants in his bed, bent over, or crawling all over him. Forever.
He just has to convince her by any means necessary…

Coffee Talk

Coffee of the day: Vanilla Biscotti
Just Read: Waking Kiss by Annabel Joseph
On Deck: Changed by Aline Hunter
Grabbed by Vicious by Lolita Lopez
                Camilla's Consequences by Helena Harker
Writing: Bait and Switch
Current TV Obsession: Teen Wolf (don't laugh!)
Recipe of the Week: Tiramisu Pancakes

Coffee in hand, I'm attempting to plan out my week. Summer is always a difficult time for me as an author. I have the kids at home and finding time to write is never an easy task. Right now I'm outlining Bait and Switch, Jared and Sophia's story. This one is going to be fun, but will require some seriously creative thinking. With both of them being Dominants, I have my work cut out for me. What's worse...my brain doesn't want to cooperate with me on this at all. It keeps feeding me bits of the paranormal erom I started earlier this year. Figures, doesn't it?

I finished up Annabel Joseph's Waking Kiss this week. Such a good book. I don't normally go for the BDSM as therapy trope. I have quite a few issues with it, but...Annabel pulled it off. I have a thing for flawed characters, throw in BDSM and ballet? Sold! This book did it for me in a big way. It's not as hardcore as some of her other novels. Even though the themes may be similar -- we've seen BDSM and ballet from her before --  each book has something new and fresh to offer. Go get this one. You won't be disappointed.

In other news, I joined Silken Sheets and Seduction's Summer Seduction Blog Hop which will take place on August 14th. Check out the awesome digital book bundle they'll be giving away.

If you haven't clicked on the recipe link above, what are you waiting for? Look at these! I'll be making them this week. Can't wait to dig in.

No one does it like Annabel Joseph

So, my favorite BDSM author has a new book out. If you like good, kinky romance with a sense of realism Annabel Joseph is a must read. Check it out!

Heat level: mild to medium, some emotional triggers
A stranger in the wings, a traitorous pair of toe shoes, and a traumatic turn dancing with The Great Rubio… For ballerina Ashleigh Keaton, it’s been one hell of a night.
But it’s not over yet. When Rubio drags her to a private BDSM party at his friend’s house in the ritzy part of London, she meets Liam Wilder, a lifestyle dominant and frighteningly seductive man. Liam pursues Ashleigh, attracted by her strength and talent, but she has secrets—an abusive past and a crippling fear of intimacy that prevents her from connecting to anyone, especially a kinky playboy reputed to be legendary in bed.
Eventually he wins her trust and sets out to heal the troubled dancer, awakening her to a world of erotic obedience and sensual abandon in a series of “sessions” at his home. But how pure are his motives? Is he helping her or endangering her fragile soul? Liam hides his own destructive secrets, and so does Fernando Rubio, their temperamental friend. Over time the three become embroiled in a tangle of artifice, fears, and lies that threaten to undo everything they’ve worked for.
Will Ashleigh and Liam find the strength to defeat their demons? Or are they cursed to sleepwalk through life forever, afraid to experience the passion and intimacy of love?
