For me, music is a huge part of the writing process. When I'm not feeling particularly motivated, it can put me in exactly the place I need to be to dive into my manuscript. Sometimes it changes the tone of a scene or allows me to pull up the emotion needed for a certain facet of the book. I honestly don't think I could have finished A Firm Hand without musical inspiration. It impacted this story on so many levels so I thought I'd share the songs I listened to. I hope you enjoy them.
